SIENNA
BABY
Handcrafted soft-sole leather baby shoes, born from a mother's love and a founder's instinct. What started as a labour of love in 2013 grew into a brand that delighted parents across Australia.

A MOTHER'S
INSTINCT.
A FOUNDER'S
VISION.
In 2013, Sarah Pirie-Nally — already a seasoned innovation leader at Commonwealth Bank and a mother of young children — noticed something missing in the baby shoe market. The options were either stiff and uncomfortable or cheap and uninspiring. She wanted something better for her own children.
So she made them herself. Soft-sole leather shoes, cut and stitched by hand, designed to let tiny feet develop naturally while looking beautiful. She called the brand Sienna Baby, and it launched officially in 2014.
The response was immediate. Parents across Australia fell in love with the quality, the craftsmanship, and the story behind them. Demand quickly exceeded what one person could handmake — a wonderful problem to have. Sienna Baby scaled to factory production, maintaining the quality and care that made the originals so special.
It's a classic founder story: see a gap, make something extraordinary, and build a brand from scratch — all while working full-time and raising a family.

CRAFTED WITH
INTENTION.
Every pair started as a labour of love — a mother's instinct to give babies the best possible start, expressed through craft.
Soft-sole leather construction supports natural foot development and allows tiny feet to feel the ground beneath them — the way nature intended.
The original Sienna Baby shoes were genuinely handmade — each pair cut, stitched, and finished by hand before scaling to meet growing demand.
Born in Australia, loved by parents across the country. Sienna Baby was a proudly local brand built on quality, care, and community.
A classic founder story: a mother who saw a gap, made something extraordinary, built a brand from scratch, and scaled it when the world said yes.
FROM HANDMADE
TO SCALED.
Sarah — a mother of young children and a seasoned innovation leader — noticed a gap in the market for beautifully crafted, soft-sole leather baby shoes. She started making them by hand.
The brand officially launched as Sienna Baby. Each pair was handcrafted from genuine leather with soft soles designed to support natural foot development in babies and toddlers.
Word spread quickly. The handmade originals sold out as fast as Sarah could make them. Demand from parents across Australia far outpaced what one person could produce.
To meet demand while maintaining quality, Sienna Baby transitioned to factory production — scaling the brand without compromising the craftsmanship and care that made it special.
ONE OF EIGHT
VENTURES.
Sienna Baby is part of Sarah's broader ecosystem of ventures — each one built from a genuine belief that the best businesses create wonder.
