01 / The brief

100 of CommBank's most valued women clients. One question on every mind.

CommBank's Women in Focus program brings together senior women leaders and high-value clients for curated experiences designed to support their professional and personal growth. In September 2025, the brief was clear: create a half-day AI literacy experience that felt relevant, empowering, and deeply human β€” not another tech demo.

The challenge was not teaching people what AI is. The challenge was helping 100 intelligent, accomplished women understand how AI could serve their specific intelligence β€” without losing their voice, their instincts, or their sense of self in the process.

Sarah was brought in to design and deliver the full experience: from the conceptual framework to the facilitation, from the tools to the takeaway that participants are still using today.

02 / The design philosophy

Most AI training teaches what AI can do. This taught what AI can do for them.

  • 01

    Human first, technology second

Before anyone touches a prompt or opens a tool, they need to understand themselves. The Human User Guide starts with values, strengths, and working style β€” not features and functions.

  • 02

Literacy is not the same as fluency

Most AI training teaches people what AI can do. This workshop teaches people what AI can do for them β€” a critical distinction that changes how participants engage with every tool they encounter.

  • 03

    Confidence comes from clarity

The anxiety most people feel around AI is not about the technology. It is about not knowing where they stand in relation to it. Once that clarity exists, the overwhelm dissolves.

03 / The program

A half-day that changed how 100 women think about AI.

  1. Opening

    The AI Anxiety Audit

A frank conversation about where fear, confusion, and overwhelm actually come from β€” and why most AI literacy programs miss the point entirely.

  2. Part One

Design Your Authentic Self in an AI World

Using the Evolve X OS framework, participants mapped their own cognitive strengths, working styles, and values β€” the foundation for any intelligent AI integration.

  3. Part Two

    LUMINA Prompt Engineering

A proprietary framework that teaches participants to communicate with AI in a way that reflects their authentic voice β€” not a generic, robotic version of themselves.

  4. Part Three

    The Human User Guide

Each participant built a personalised Human User Guide β€” a living document that captures how they think, lead, and want AI to support them. Participants have been applying it ever since.

  5. Close

    From Overwhelm to Orchestration

A reframe of what it means to lead in an AI era β€” not as someone who uses every tool, but as someone who knows exactly which tools serve their intelligence.

04 / The signature tool

The Human User Guide

Every participant left with a personalised Human User Guide β€” a living document that captures how they think, communicate, lead, and want AI to work alongside them. Not a template. Not a generic prompt library. A document built around their specific intelligence.

Months later, participants are still applying it. That is the measure of a workshop that actually works.

05 / The impact

From anxiety to agency. In half a day.

The women who attended this workshop arrived with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. Many had been told AI was going to change everything. Few had been shown how to navigate that change in a way that felt true to who they are.

By the end of the session, the conversation had shifted. Not from fear to hype β€” but from overwhelm to clarity. Participants understood their own relationship to AI, had a practical tool to guide that relationship, and left with the confidence to move forward on their own terms.

The Human User Guide they built that day has become a reference point they return to. That is the kind of outcome that matters.

06 / What Sarah brought

Twenty years of experience. One clear conviction.

  • 01

    Enterprise-grade design thinking

Sarah's background as Chief Design Officer at ASB Bank and senior transformation leader at CBA and NAB means she understands how large organisations think, move, and change. The workshop was built for the real world β€” not a startup ecosystem.

  • 02

    Human-centred AI methodology

The Evolve X OS and LUMINA Prompt Engineering frameworks are proprietary tools developed through years of working at the intersection of human psychology, design thinking, and AI capability.

  • 03

    Facilitation that creates safety

AI conversations can trigger genuine anxiety. Sarah's facilitation style creates the psychological safety that allows people to be honest about where they are β€” and curious about where they could go.

  • 04

A tool that outlasts the room

The Human User Guide is not a workshop exercise. It is a living document participants continue to use and refine. The measure of this work is not what happened in the room β€” it is what is still happening months later.

β€œMost organisations don't have a technology problem. They have a clarity problem. Get clear on who you are and how you think β€” and AI becomes the most powerful tool in the room.”
